Report Abuse & Safety Policy

Effective Date: November 18, 2025
Last Updated: September 4, 2026

SeeMyShare.com (“SeeMyShare,” “the Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides URL shortening, link sharing, QR code generation, click tracking, link analytics, redirect management, and related link-management services.

We take abuse of our Service seriously.

SeeMyShare must not be used to distribute, conceal, redirect to, promote, facilitate, or support phishing, fraud, malware, pornography, sexually explicit content, child sexual exploitation, spam, malicious impersonation, dangerous activity, review evasion, or other prohibited or harmful activity.

This Report Abuse & Safety Policy explains:

  • how to report a suspicious or abusive SeeMyShare link;
  • what types of links and activities are prohibited;
  • how we may investigate reports;
  • when links or accounts may be immediately disabled;
  • how we protect the security, integrity, and reputation of the SeeMyShare Service and domains.

This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

By using SeeMyShare, you agree to comply with this Policy and our Terms of Service.

1. Our Role as a Link Management Service

SeeMyShare allows users to create shortened URLs, QR codes, redirects, and related link-management tools that may direct visitors to third-party websites, pages, applications, files, products, services, offers, advertisements, or other online destinations.

We do not own, control, operate, endorse, sponsor, approve, certify, verify, or guarantee third-party destinations merely because they are accessible through a SeeMyShare link.

The existence of a SeeMyShare shortened URL or QR code does not mean that:

  • SeeMyShare approves the destination;
  • SeeMyShare has reviewed the destination;
  • the destination is safe;
  • the destination is lawful;
  • the destination is trustworthy;
  • the destination is free from malware, fraud, phishing, pornography, or other prohibited content;
  • SeeMyShare is affiliated with the destination operator.

However, we may review, scan, restrict, disable, delete, block, preserve information relating to, or report links, accounts, destinations, domains, redirect chains, or activities that we reasonably believe violate our policies or present legal, security, fraud, abuse, reputational, operational, or public-safety risks.

2. How to Report Abuse

If you believe a SeeMyShare link is being used for prohibited, harmful, deceptive, abusive, unsafe, or illegal activity, please report it to:

[email protected]

Please provide as much of the following information as reasonably possible:

  1. the SeeMyShare shortened URL;
  2. the final destination URL, if known;
  3. a description of the suspected violation;
  4. screenshots, emails, messages, advertisements, or other supporting evidence;
  5. the date and approximate time you encountered the link;
  6. information about any intermediate redirects, if known;
  7. your contact information if you would like us to contact you.

Useful reports may include statements such as:

  • “This link leads to a fake login page.”
  • “This shortened URL is being distributed in a phishing email.”
  • “This link redirects to malware.”
  • “This link redirects to pornography or sexually explicit material.”
  • “This link impersonates my company.”
  • “This link is being used for a scam.”
  • “This link is being distributed through spam.”
  • “This destination changes depending on the visitor's country.”
  • “This link appears to be intentionally hiding its final destination.”
  • “This link threatens public safety.”
  • “This link appears to involve child exploitation.”
  • “This link infringes my copyright or trademark.”

If you cannot determine the final destination safely, do not continue navigating through suspicious redirects solely to gather evidence.

Send us the SeeMyShare URL and the information you already have.

Submitting a report does not guarantee a response, removal, reinstatement, or particular enforcement outcome.

We may evaluate reports based on available evidence, technical indicators, account history, destination behavior, threat intelligence, previous violations, legal obligations, security considerations, and risk to users, third parties, the Service, or the public.

3. Emergency and Immediate Safety Issues

If you believe there is an immediate threat to life, physical safety, emergency services, or public safety, contact the appropriate local emergency service or law-enforcement authority first.

You may also report the relevant SeeMyShare link to:

[email protected]

Where appropriate and permitted or required by law, we may preserve information and cooperate with valid emergency requests, legal process, law-enforcement requests, or appropriate safety organizations.

SeeMyShare is not an emergency-response service.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not use SeeMyShare to create, shorten, redirect to, conceal, disguise, distribute, publish, advertise, promote, monetize, or facilitate any link, content, campaign, product, service, or activity prohibited by our Terms of Service or this Policy.

  • content behind a password;
  • content behind a CAPTCHA or bot challenge;
  • content displayed only after user interaction;
  • destinations changed after a SeeMyShare link has already been created or distributed.

A destination does not become permissible merely because the underlying content or activity is lawful in a particular jurisdiction.

SeeMyShare may prohibit categories of content or activity that are lawful elsewhere.

5. Phishing, Fraud, Impersonation, and Deception

You may not use SeeMyShare for:

  1. phishing;

  29. fraudulent ecommerce pages or checkout pages;
  30. deceptive affiliate campaigns;
  31. other schemes intended to obtain money, credentials, personal information, property, services, or access through deception.

If a link is intended to trick users into submitting passwords, payment details, bank information, identification documents, verification codes, cryptocurrency credentials, personal information, or other sensitive information, we may disable it immediately and terminate the associated account.

You may not use SeeMyShare to distribute, deliver, redirect to, promote, or facilitate:

7. Spam, Unsolicited Messaging, and Artificial Traffic

You may not use SeeMyShare for:

  1. unsolicited bulk email;
  2. SMS spam;
  3. messaging-app spam;
  4. comment spam;

  19. campaigns intended to evade another platform's abuse systems;
  20. repeated distribution of unwanted links to recipients who have not consented to receive them.

Accounts exhibiting bulk or automated abusive behavior may be restricted or terminated.

8. Hidden, Cloaked, or Restricted Links

SeeMyShare prohibits deliberate attempts to conceal or selectively reveal destinations in order to evade review, enforcement, security controls, or platform policies.

You may not use:

  10. time-based cloaking;
  11. reviewer-specific content;
  12. harmless content shown only to scanners or reviewers while prohibited content is shown to other visitors;
  13. geo-blocking primarily intended to prevent SeeMyShare from reviewing a destination;
  14. CDN, firewall, WAF, bot-management, challenge, or access-control rules used to conceal prohibited content;
  15. multi-step redirects designed to hide a final destination;
  16. link rotators used to evade moderation;
  17. conditional redirects to prohibited destinations;
  18. destination changes after review to prohibited or higher-risk content;
  19. special tokens, headers, network conditions, passwords, or devices primarily used to prevent reasonable review;
  20. chained URL shorteners, redirectors, proxies, or traffic-distribution systems intended to obscure the true destination.

Ordinary website security practices are not prohibited merely because they use firewalls, CDNs, or access controls.

Using those mechanisms to conceal prohibited content or intentionally prevent reasonable compliance review is prohibited.

If we cannot reasonably access, resolve, review, or verify a destination or redirect chain, we may disable the link and associated account without advance notice.

9. Pornography and Sexually Explicit Content

SeeMyShare does not permit pornography or sexually explicit content.

This rule applies even where the content is:

  • lawful;
  • consensual;
  • created by adults;
  • age-restricted;
  • subscription-only;
  • behind a paywall;
  • privately hosted;
  • licensed;
  • permitted by another platform;
  • permitted by the laws of a particular jurisdiction.

You may not use SeeMyShare to direct users to, distribute, advertise, promote, monetize, or otherwise facilitate access to:

  1. pornography;

  34. non-consensual intimate imagery;

  36. hidden-camera sexual content;
  37. sexually explicit material distributed without consent.

The prohibition applies to sexual material involving real persons, fictional persons, animated characters, avatars, CGI characters, AI-generated persons, or synthetic persons.

An “18+” warning, age-verification process, login, payment requirement, subscription, membership requirement, or similar restriction does not make prohibited content permissible on SeeMyShare.

Bona fide medical, clinical, scientific, legal, sexual-health, educational, or news content that is not pornographic and is not primarily intended for sexual arousal may be permitted at our discretion.

Pornography disguised as educational, artistic, scientific, documentary, or informational material remains prohibited.

10. Child Safety

SeeMyShare maintains zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation.

You may not use SeeMyShare to distribute, advertise, redirect to, promote, monetize, facilitate, or otherwise support:

  1. child sexual abuse material (“CSAM”);

  6. trafficking of minors;
  7. sextortion involving minors;
  8. sexual coercion involving minors;
  9. sexualized imagery involving minors;
  10. sexual deepfakes involving minors;
  11. AI-generated or synthetic sexual material depicting or purporting to depict minors;
  12. communities, directories, forums, repositories, or services intended to locate, distribute, trade, sell, conceal, or obtain child sexual exploitation material.

For our enforcement purposes, we may treat content as a child-safety concern when a depicted person's age cannot reasonably be established and the person appears to be under 18.

Where appropriate and required or permitted by applicable law, we may:

  • immediately disable links;
  • disable all links associated with an account;
  • terminate accounts;
  • prevent or restrict re-registration;
  • preserve relevant records;
  • cooperate with law-enforcement authorities;

Copyright complaints may also be handled under the procedures described in our Terms of Service or any separately published DMCA policy.

15. Abuse of SeeMyShare Systems

You may not:

  1. interfere with the security or operation of SeeMyShare;
  2. attempt unauthorized access;
  3. probe or scan our systems without authorization;
  4. bypass technical limits;
  5. bypass account or rate limits;
  6. evade CAPTCHA or verification controls;
  7. artificially inflate click statistics;
  8. manipulate analytics;
  9. create replacement links for blocked destinations;
  10. create replacement accounts after enforcement;
  11. use another person's account to evade enforcement;
  12. use alternate email addresses, networks, devices, identities, or entities to circumvent suspension or termination;
  13. use SeeMyShare domains to disguise or rehabilitate the reputation of known malicious or prohibited destinations;
  14. assist another user in bypassing our safety or enforcement systems.

16. Monitoring, Scanning, and Review

We may, but are not obligated to, monitor, scan, crawl, resolve, classify, inspect, investigate, or review:

  1. shortened URLs;
  2. destination URLs;
  3. redirect chains;
  4. accounts;
  5. QR codes;
  6. metadata;
  7. click activity;
  8. traffic patterns;
  9. IP addresses;
  10. user agents;
  11. referrers;
  12. reports;
  13. destination histories;
  14. security signals;
  15. enforcement history.

We may use:

  • automated systems;
  • manual review;
  • third-party security services;
  • malware scanners;
  • phishing-detection tools;
  • threat intelligence;
  • blocklists;
  • reputation systems;
  • hosting-provider reports;
  • registrar reports;
  • platform reports;
  • user reports;
  • legal requests;
  • other reasonable fraud and abuse-prevention information.

The fact that a link has not yet been blocked or removed does not mean that SeeMyShare has reviewed, approved, verified, or determined that the link is safe.

17. Enforcement Actions

Where appropriate, we may:

  1. disable a shortened URL;
  2. delete a shortened URL;
  3. block a destination;
  4. block a destination domain;
  5. block URL patterns;
  6. restrict an account;
  7. suspend an account;
  8. terminate an account;
  9. disable all links associated with an account;
  10. restrict link creation;
  11. restrict traffic;
  12. restrict API access;
  13. limit analytics access;
  14. require additional verification;
  15. display an interstitial warning;
  16. prevent creation of replacement links;
  17. prevent or restrict re-registration;
  18. restrict associated accounts;
  19. preserve information relating to suspected abuse;
  20. report suspected abuse to relevant service providers, platforms, authorities, or safety organizations where appropriate.

We may take enforcement action against accounts, links, destinations, or activity that we reasonably determine are associated with the same user, operator, campaign, or abuse pattern.

Enforcement may extend to other links associated with an abusive account even if every individual link has not yet been separately reviewed.

18. Immediate Removal and No Cure Period for Serious Abuse

A harmful link can cause damage immediately after it is created or distributed.

For that reason, serious violations are not subject to a warning, grace period, cure period, or guaranteed opportunity to correct the violation before enforcement.

Serious violations include, without limitation:

  1. pornography or sexually explicit content;
  2. child sexual exploitation;
  3. phishing;
  4. fraud or scams;
  5. credential theft;
  6. malware;
  7. malicious impersonation;
  8. deliberate cloaking;
  9. deliberate review evasion;
  10. malicious redirect chains;
  11. serious public-safety risks;
  12. repeated circumvention of enforcement;
  13. other intentional or severe abuse.

A single serious violation may be sufficient for:

  • immediate removal of the link;
  • immediate suspension or permanent termination of the account;
  • disabling all other links associated with the account;
  • blocking associated destinations;
  • restriction of associated accounts;
  • restriction of future registration.

We are not required to establish that a destination violates criminal law before enforcing SeeMyShare's own platform policies.

Content or activity may be prohibited by SeeMyShare even if it is lawful in one or more jurisdictions.

19. Destination Changes and Redirect Chains

Our policies apply throughout the full redirect chain.

A user remains responsible if prohibited material:

  1. appears after one or more intermediate redirects;
  2. appears only after a delay;
  3. appears only after a click or user interaction;
  4. appears only in particular countries or regions;
  5. appears only on particular devices;
  6. appears only on particular networks;
  7. is behind a login;
  8. is behind a paywall;
  9. is behind an age gate;
  10. is hidden by a CDN or security service;
  11. is added after the SeeMyShare link has already been created;
  12. becomes the destination after a previously legitimate destination is changed.

Changing the final destination after a SeeMyShare link has been created does not avoid responsibility under this Policy.

20. Evidence Preservation

When we detect, investigate, or receive a report of serious abuse, we may preserve information reasonably related to the activity.

This may include:

  1. account identifiers;
  2. email addresses;
  3. IP addresses;
  4. user agents;
  5. timestamps;
  6. shortened URLs;
  7. destination URLs;
  8. redirect chains;
  9. relevant click records;
  10. referrers;
  11. screenshots;
  12. abuse reports;
  13. technical indicators;
  14. enforcement records;
  15. relevant metadata.

Public access to a prohibited link may be removed while limited internal information is retained for security, fraud prevention, repeat-abuse detection, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement.

Information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

21. Repeat Offenders and Enforcement Evasion

A user whose account has been suspended or terminated must not attempt to evade the enforcement action.

Prohibited circumvention includes:

  1. creating another account;
  2. registering with another email address;
  3. using another person's account;
  4. using another company or entity to continue the same prohibited activity;
  5. recreating a prohibited shortened URL;
  6. submitting the same prohibited destination again;
  7. changing domains while continuing substantially the same prohibited activity;
  8. using intermediate websites or additional shorteners to conceal a previously blocked destination.

Where we reasonably identify circumvention, we may terminate associated accounts and disable associated links without additional warning.

22. Appeals

If a SeeMyShare link or account has been suspended or terminated and you believe the decision was made in error, you may contact:

[email protected]

An appeal should include:

  1. your account email;
  2. the relevant SeeMyShare shortened URL;
  3. the final destination URL;
  4. a clear explanation of the intended purpose of the link;
  5. information supporting the legitimacy and safety of the destination;
  6. confirmation that the destination can be reasonably reviewed;
  7. any information showing why you believe the enforcement action was incorrect.

Do not create replacement links or accounts in an attempt to bypass enforcement while an appeal is pending.

Submitting an appeal does not guarantee reinstatement.

We may approve or reject an appeal subject to applicable law.

For serious or intentional violations, including pornography, sexually explicit content, phishing, malware, fraud, child sexual exploitation, or deliberate review evasion, we may decline reinstatement even if the original destination has subsequently been removed or changed.

23. False or Abusive Reports

Do not knowingly submit false, fraudulent, malicious, or misleading abuse reports.

Do not use our reporting system to harass another user, competitor, company, website, or individual.

Where appropriate, we may disregard abusive reports or take reasonable measures against misuse of our reporting systems.

A good-faith report will not be considered abusive merely because we ultimately determine that no policy violation occurred.

24. No Guarantee of Detection

We work to reduce abuse but cannot guarantee that every harmful, deceptive, illegal, unsafe, or prohibited link will be identified before it is accessed or distributed.

Users should exercise caution when clicking any shortened URL.

If a link is unexpected or suspicious, avoid entering:

  • passwords;
  • payment information;
  • banking information;
  • verification codes;
  • identity documents;
  • cryptocurrency wallet credentials;
  • private keys;
  • recovery phrases;
  • other confidential information.

The continued availability of a SeeMyShare link does not constitute a safety certification or endorsement.

25. Relationship to Other Policies

This Report Abuse & Safety Policy forms part of SeeMyShare's broader legal, safety, and abuse-prevention framework.

Your use of SeeMyShare is also governed by:

  1. our Terms of Service;
  2. our Privacy Policy;
  3. any additional policies, safety notices, technical limitations, or rules expressly published by SeeMyShare.

If there is a conflict between this Policy and our Terms of Service, the Terms of Service will control unless expressly stated otherwise.

26. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Report Abuse & Safety Policy from time to time.

When appropriate, we may notify users by:

  • posting the updated Policy;
  • changing the “Last Updated” date;
  • providing an account notice;
  • sending an email;
  • using another reasonable notification method.

The revised Policy becomes effective on the date stated in the revised version.

Continued use of SeeMyShare after the revised Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
